Anil Acharya

Anil Acharya, is an Indian Bengali scholar, essayist, and poet, who founded the Bengali literary quarterly Anustup in 1966. He holds an honors degree in English literature from Scottish Church College and a master's from the University of Calcutta. Acharya taught English at Serampore College and served as Secretary of the Publisher and Bookseller's Guild, organizers of the Kolkata Book Fair. He has written extensively and edited Anustup since 1966.
