This compilation comprises twenty one thought-provoking articles written by scientists from the era of Galileo and Copernicus to Watson, Crick, and Salam. It documents the advancement of modern science and holds immense significance for the study of the history of science in the Bengali language. The collection is divided into six chapters, namely: "Beginning of a New Era," "Synthesis and Construction," "Introduction to Life," "Second Revolution," "Language and Alphabet of Science," and "Man and Science." In the last part, the relationship between science and technology and its progress is added. A brief bibliography and a chronology of modern science are included for the convenience of the reader. Although it does not claim that all aspects of science and technology are discussed and explained in detail, this book covers much of what the interested reader needs.
