Though public health system of West Bengal has grown remarkably in the recent past, however, the benefits of the various government initiatives are not reachable to beneficiaries, due to inadequate budgetary allocation, corruption in public medical system and existence of dirty politics. The author has substantial field experience about the public health system of rural Bengal. This book deals with various core issues of our public health systems from his personal account.
