Ranajit Guha

Ranajit Guha (23 May 1923 – 28 April 2023) was a prominent Indian historian and a key figure in the Subaltern Studies collective, focusing on post-colonial societies from the perspective of marginalized groups. He edited several foundational anthologies in English and Bengali, shaping the methodological approach of South Asian Studies.
