Hetu Kabya

Arindam Chakrabarti

₹ 250

The Sanskrit term Kavi occupies a central place in the intellectual and literary history of India. Far from denoting merely a poet, the Kavi was revered as a seer and philosopher, one who articulated profound truths through the medium of shloka. In early traditions, philosophy itself was composed in verse, ensuring that metaphysical inquiry was inseparable from aesthetic form. This lineage is exemplified by figures such as Nagarjuna, Kumaril Bhaṭṭa, Jayantabhaṭṭa, Utpaladeva and Śrīharṣa. This collection includes some of Arindam Chakraborty’s philosophical writings in the form of poem.
