‘Buddhijibi’ is the popular Bengali term of English word intellectual. The set of two volume of this collection of essays by eminent scholars with international fame, discussed the entire gamut of this word from various points of views. The role of intellectuals in the society is extremely critical. Due to dubious playing of some intellectuals, we find erroneous belief and criticism off them. However, they have limited power and possession; they cannot change the society as desire by many. They can only ignite the unrest or fuel to bring justice against the unruled. This book is the collection of those essays, which have been published in ANUSTUP Patrika since 1966.
